One member of the village community is busy building the huts, another is putting the finishing touches to the rotating pyramid, and the third is busy sourcing boards for even more huts. The Striezelkinder have also taken their places and are handing out delicious gingerbread and cookies. Meanwhile, garlands are being decorated for the stalls in the half-timbered house. The "Kräuterstube" (herb shop) has its doors wide open, and in front of it a cheerful Molli figure with a green cap and apron is busy watering the herbs. A hand-carved and painted dog keeps her company. On the steps next to her stands another green-clad Molli figure, comfortably smoking a pipe, with a walking stick and a fully loaded basket on his back.
