In the now open window, you can see the silhouette of a couple sitting at the table. They are sitting in a traditional Japanese house with curved roofs on a property surrounded by water. Two women with typical Japanese accessories, umbrellas and fans, are walking across the watercourse in traditional dress. Both figures are made of solid wood and coloured by hand. A small bridge leads from one bank to the other, and stones also form a crossing. Ripples play on the effectively illuminated water and a few fish swim by. This candle arch is partially coloured and kept in two tones. Hidden in the dense green of the forest is a large fir tree with beautifully carved and painted cones. Beneath this fir tree is the forest workers' territory. Three small carved deer are being cared for at the frost house. With enough food from the manger and water from the trough, the three fawns are sure to be back on their feet in no time. Next to the forester's lodge, the felled wood is processed into firewood and stored. Two carved and painted fir trees complete the picture. The fir tree is beautiful to look at when it gets dark, because that's when the indirect LED lighting really comes into its own.
