Even today, the Erzgebirge Logging Cup is still held annually. Participants use their horses to transport long tree trunks through an obstacle course. But there is also a return to tradition. Where heavy machinery cannot reach, horses are used again. On our candle arch, the wood has already been brought out of the forest and loaded onto a ladder wagon. The forester strides towards his pretty half-timbered house with his horse. The scene is effectively highlighted by indirect lighting. The coloured figures and four fir trees are made of solid wood.
