Even today, the Erzgebirge Logging Cup is still held annually. Participants use their horses to transport long tree trunks through an obstacle course. But there is also a return to tradition. Where heavy machinery cannot reach, horses are used again. On our candle arch, the wood has already been brought out of the forest and loaded onto a ladder wagon. RATAGS-Kunsthandwerk ist einer der größten Hersteller echt erzgebirgischer Holzkunst und Mitglied im Verband der erzgebirgischen Kunsthandwerker und Spielzeughersteller e.V. und berechtigt, das Siegel Echt Erzgebirge – Holzkunst mit Herz zu tragen. Neben der Produktion in Sachsen wird vor allem die Art der Erzeugnisse und die Weise ihrer Herstellung mit diesem Siegel gewürdigt. In filigraner Handarbeit entstehen am Stammsitz in Langenwolmsdorf Schwibbogen, Pyramiden, Räuchermännchen und vieles andere mehr.

In unserer Schauwerkstatt
am Stammhaus Langenwolmsdorf können Sie den Frauen bei der Herstellung
der erzgebirgischen Holzkunst zusehen. Unsere Produkte werden hier in
liebevoller Handarbeit und mit viel Geduld gefertigt, filigran bemalt,
farblich gebeizt und aufwändig montiert. Danach werden die Holzwaren
verpackt und für den weltweiten Versand reisefertig gemacht.
In unseren Räumen entstehen ganz individuelle 3D-Schwibbögen,
prachtvolle Pyramiden, lustige Räuchermänner, schöne Fensterbilder,
anmutige Raumleuchten, liebreizende Osterhasen und viele andere
wunderbare erzgebirgische Holzprodukte mehr.
