Two women with typical Japanese accessories, umbrellas and fans, are walking across the watercourse in traditional dress. Both figures are made of solid wood and coloured by hand. A small bridge leads from one bank to the other, and stones also form a crossing. Ripples play on the effectively illuminated water and a few fish swim by. Pitti and his friends are busy enjoying winter fun. Building a snowman requires a few ingredients. Schnatterinchen carries the carrot, Struppi the broom and Pittiplatsch completes the snowman with a proper top hat. Mr Fox and Mrs Magpie are getting ready to go sledging, while our Sandmännchen approaches at speed with a team of reindeer to bring the late-night activities to their predetermined end.
