A colourful geisha stands with a fan in her hand in front of a tea house, the chashitsu. The free-standing tea house, built especially for this purpose, blends traditionally into the surrounding Japanese garden. Cups and jugs rotate on the pyramid plate, powered by 2 tea lights. All figures and trees are made of high-quality solid wood and coloured by hand. The illuminated television shows a photo of an anniversary programme, while the animals of the forest watch. In the now open window, you can see the silhouette of a couple sitting at the table. They are sitting in a traditional Japanese house with curved roofs on a property surrounded by water. Two women with typical Japanese accessories, umbrellas and fans, are walking across the watercourse in traditional dress. Both figures are made of solid wood and coloured by hand. A small bridge leads from one bank to the other, and stones also form a crossing. Ripples play on the effectively illuminated water and a few fish swim by. The red real glass baubles must be hung carefully on the fir tree. The fir tree is made of light birch plywood and is finished with glittering hoarfrost. It is indirectly illuminated and creates an atmospheric ambience. Pitti is made entirely of hardwood, as is the base plate. This hardwood is particularly dimensionally stable. We have polished the glaze to give it an elegant silk matt sheen. The characteristic white fur on the head and arms contrasts with the dark body. The two red shoes each have a white pompom. RATAGS-Kunsthandwerk ist einer der größten Hersteller echt erzgebirgischer Holzkunst und Mitglied im Verband der erzgebirgischen Kunsthandwerker und Spielzeughersteller e.V. und berechtigt, das Siegel Echt Erzgebirge – Holzkunst mit Herz zu tragen. Neben der Produktion in Sachsen wird vor allem die Art der Erzeugnisse und die Weise ihrer Herstellung mit diesem Siegel gewürdigt. In filigraner Handarbeit entstehen am Stammsitz in Langenwolmsdorf Schwibbogen, Pyramiden, Räuchermännchen und vieles andere mehr.
