Der farbige Kurzrockengel mit Trumscheit zeigt ein seltenes historisches Saiteninstrument, das heute kaum noch gespielt wird. Das Trumscheit – traditionell eher solistisch verwendet – ist in klassischen Orchestern kaum vertreten und wirkt in Miniaturform besonders faszinierend. Das Instrument ist fein ausgearbeitet: ein heller, dreieckig-länglicher Klangkörper mit einer einzelnen Saite und einem rotbraunen Griffstück. Das Schallloch wird von einer zarten Messing-Ätzplatte mit filigranem Rautenmuster abgedeckt, was dem Instrument seinen wertigen Charakter verleiht. In der rechten Hand hält der Engel einen winzigen, bespannten Bogen von nur etwa 2 cm Länge. Die Figur wird in liebevoller Handarbeit in Grünhainichen gefertigt und sorgfältig bemalt und trägt selbstverständlich das Qualitätssiegel Echt Erzgebirge. Holzkunst mit Herz.
