Der naturfarbene Kurzrockengel mit Trumscheit zeigt ein ungewöhnliches, historisches Saiteninstrument, das heute nur noch selten gespielt wird. Das Trumscheit – traditionell ein solistisches Instrument – ist in klassischen Orchestern kaum zu finden und wirkt daher in Miniaturform besonders reizvoll. Das Instrument in der Hand des Engels ist fein gearbeitet: ein heller, dreieckig-länglicher Klangkörper mit einer einzelnen Saite und einem rotbraunen Griffstück. Das Schallloch wird von einer filigranen Ätzplatte im Rautenmuster aus hellem Messing abgedeckt, was dem Instrument einen wertigen, handwerklichen Charakter verleiht. In seiner rechten Hand hält der Engel einen winzigen, bespannten Bogen von nur etwa 2 cm Länge. Jede Figur entsteht in sorgfältiger Handarbeit in Grünhainichen und trägt selbstverständlich das Qualitätssiegel Echt Erzgebirge. Holzkunst mit Herz.
