Two women with typical Japanese accessories, umbrellas and fans, are walking across the watercourse in traditional dress. Both figures are made of solid wood and coloured by hand. A small bridge leads from one bank to the other, and stones also form a crossing. Ripples play on the effectively illuminated water and a few fish swim by. A wood artist paints a candle arch in front of the show workshop of the traditional Erzgebirge company Richard Glässer. Some blanks are still waiting to be processed. In the background, you can see the village of Seiffen with its typical church. Groups of trees adorn the outer arch.
